Micheal has been Managing Partner of Welch LLP since 2008, responsible for the direction and operations of Welch LLP, a professional services firm, employing over 250 people. He is responsible for specialty service support in all areas of strategy, with extensive experience in taxation, financial and estate planning, and cross-border consulting.
Konval Matin - Director of Culture at ShopifyKonval Matin, Director of Culture at Shopify, has a passion for creating meaningful employee experiences. Her focus on culture reaches deep within Shopify, spanning geographies, teams and roles. Konval applies the cultural context needed to impact everything from hiring and onboarding, to design of the physical office space, to the information and content employees receive. Her thirst for answers means she's continually asking 'why' with a goal of scaling Shopify's strong internal culture for the long term.
Kathryn Hancock, CHRL - Human Resources Manager at Welch LLPKathryn Hancock has been in the field of Human Resources for over 10 years, as both a generalist and with a focus on recruitment. Her work experience ranges from the not for profit sector to a national accounting firm. She has been at Welch LLP for just over a year as the manager of Human Resources. Kathryn is a Certified Human Resources Leader, and alumni of Queen’s University, Kingston. She has a passion for graduate recruitment and helping organizations to effectively leverage the strength of each staff member.
