A total Six week was spend on the job at which time the Objective was achieve by 100%
a comprehensive document was done with a detail budget on how to execute the different
task and make the overall objective achievable.
2004 – June 2004 – Work with Cap-Pack and Country style Juice for a period of four
Months.
During my tender at Cap Pack I was integral in the design of the new facility at hunts
Bay.
Examine the design of Plastic bottles and also examine the most efficient way of the
extruding process.
Examine the used of power generation as an alternative source of energy, to make the
plastic producing process as efficient as possible.
Visit Country style processing facility and assist where possible and recommend feasible
changes.
Work with Mid Island farm in developing a more viable option to Block and steel with
the assistance of Metal Fabrication from Trinidad.

8. 2004-2008 - JLP Care Taker for North West Old harbor, Jamaica Middlesex St
Catherine.
Communities include Bannister, Boy Contents, Big Pond, Bully Tree, Red Ground
Community, Barton which include six miles and Bamboo Ridge community.
During my Tender a community centre as well as a field for community development was
ascertain and competition which include ranges from Football, cricket and netball was
co-ordinate and was used as a unity tool for the future in which I wanted to change the
overall prospective of politics. Also a 100% canvassing was done to establish the need of
the people and to examine the existing resource that was available and how to make the
division under my supervision manageable.
Also Project which includes extended agricultural development, housing development
and other infrastructural development program was put in place.
Designs which include using the existing infrastructure to improve water supply to the
area was done and completed.
Road infrastructures were improved from the normal chip and spray to concrete Asphalt
which to date stand up to the present traffic condition.
A existing Pond which create a hazard after heavy rain fall which results in the isolation
to at least thirteen community for a period of three week, and can only be access via boat
or other alternative method such as long walk thru bushes which created security risk.
Improvement was done which resulted in a maximum of four to five days isolation. A
final proposal was table and is now awaiting final financial assistance to total removal of
such hazard.
Structural Development which includes a shopping centres, such as a grocery shop,
hardware various game and community services were constructed.
A school program such as pedestrian crossing was implemented and a Bus stop was
design but wasn’t constructed during my tender. But as a loyal community person the
process continue under my private supervision.
Community policing was implemented, by having the right person in charge within the
community.
The design of a Post office was put together along with a Basketball court for JSIF
support, such project has been shelf but I am now considering the completion of these
projects under a neutral heading.

Form a company that collects used motor oil from garages and industries; this is then
processed and used in industrial boilers for energy production.
2004 – 2005 General Manager – Cross Border Environmental Services limited. P.O.
Box 5, Ewarton.
Work with organization (Ryco.) in expanding the collection of used cooking oil from new
outlets and hotels. While coordinating the company businesses, reduce the energy cost
from and average of $250,000.00 per month for diesel fuel to less than $50,000.00 per
month, which include collection cost and processing. Add an additional sixty account to
the collection route. During this period the principal share holder in Cross Border and
myself form a company name By-Products Processors of Jamaica, which was to be
involved in Rendering of Poultry waste and the Recycling of used oil for energy source.

10. Spring Village, St. Catherine, Jamaica (Division of the Jamaica Broilers
Group)
Direct the planning and coordinating, control and implementation of preventative
maintenance operations within the rendering and processing plant. Ensure proper safety
and housekeeping standards. Prepare budgets; monitor expenditure and seek explanation
for variances in addition to capital budget. Liaise with the relevant Government bodies
and the Bureau of Standards. Supervise and negotiate with the Maintenance contractors
to establish plant maintenance objectives and direct the development of the workforce.
Ensure the availability of power, fuel and water. Supervise external contractor, negotiate
with selected contractor for proper costing and planning of contracts to project
completion. Manage the operations of the cogeneration facility, ensuring adequate supply
of steam, chill air, hot water and electricity to the Best Dressed Chicken processing
facility.
• Increased Plant availability from 70% to 100% within 2 years.
• Implemented Preventative Maintenance Control program.
• Re-engineered the Maintenance department from hourly staff to a contractual
system, which resulted in a 30% reduction in cost within a year.
• Structured and implemented an incentive program for the Maintenance
department.
• Retooled production facility with the installation of modernized equipment with
PLC capability.
• Redesigned the Production room layout to improve product flow through all
departments.
• Increased plant yield from 76% to 80% within a year.

1998 – 1999 Assistant Engineering Manager – Best Dressed Chicken Processing Plant

Responsible for the co-ordination of all preventative maintenance control operations and
servicing of all equipment in the Processing and Rendering plants. Ensure the efficient
operation of machinery and created cost effective maintenance activities. Conduct
periodic inspections on safety devices and fire-fighting equipment.

11. Direct the preparation of reports. Assisted with selection of new machinery and directed
its installation. Prepared and review designs and directed projects to upgrade, expand, or
modify plant facility.
• Successfully streamlined the implementation of a two-shift system.
• Increased total production productivity from 85% to 95% within six months.
• Implemented the PMC program.
• Increased maintenance BPMH (Birds per man-hour).
• Reduced the emergency response time of Mechanical, Electrical and Refrigeration
Departments from 30 minutes to less than 5 minutes.

• Liaised with EAL/ERI Cogeneration Plant to ensure consistent supply of
electricity, steam, hot water and air-conditioning to the plant.

1. Worked alongside Warsila ERI/EAL in the planning and implementation of a
$600 million project.
2. Worked with James Hardie from New Zealand with the designing, planning and
implementation of $20 million Cold Room facilities.
3. Worked with Rollers and Compressors in the planning and implementation of a
$5 million resurfacing project at the plant.
4. Worked with the Spring Village community in the upgrading of the Spring
Village School and community center.
5. Worked with Stork Gamco in the planning and implementation of modernized
facilities in the processing plant.
6. Successfully implement one of the largest wastewater treatment system in the
Jamaica Broilers facility, in accordance with NEPA STD.
7. Work Along side stellar Group from Jacksonville in a ten (10) year design plan
for the Cold room expansion and relocation of the existing loading docks.
1994 - 1998 Rendering Plant Manager – Best Dressed Chicken Processing Plant
Spring Village, St. Catherine, Jamaica.
Planned and scheduled the daily production operations within the Rendering plant.
Monitor the operation of auxiliary equipments. Assisted with preparations of the annual
budget; Liaised with various personnel, contractors and stores department. Ensure that

12. effluent from the Rendering Plant was treated prior to its release. Monitored fuel usage,
monitor the loading, cooking, dehydrating and uploading cycles of the cookers and
directed the adjustment of the related valves on a daily basis.
• Increased production capacity within six (6) months
• Improved manning efficiency by 100%.
• Reduced loss time from an average of one (1) hr to less than 5 minutes per week.
• Reduced Cooking time from average nine (9) hours to four & half (4 ½) per cook
cycle.
• Increased meal production by 50%.
• Improved quality of meal, from average moisture content of 17% to 6%.
• Reduced maintenance cost by 30%.
• Re-designed plant flow to reduce cross contamination along with implementation
of HACCP program.
• Developed a new product from chicken by-products, which generated an
additional 96 million/year savings.

Kentucky USA.) Stephen Woodgate (Beacon Research) in the development of
enzyme adoption project to conventional rendering systems.
2. Worked with Anco-Eaglin in the planning and implementation of a $15 million
expansion project to the Rendering Plant facility.
3. Worked with Alloy Hardfacing in the planning and implementation of a 50,000
gallon self cleaning clarifier system.
4. Extensive work in the field of Environmental Engineering and Waste Water
Management alongside the NRCA (National Resource Conservation Authority) to
ensure that waste streams are in compliance with the set standards.
