a day with too much water

1. A Big Snowstorm

One morning many years ago, I woke up and looked out of the window. I saw
snow. Nothing else just snow. I walked downstairs and I wanted to open the
front door. But there was snow outside. Then I walked upstairs to ask my mother
what happened. She said: ‘At night, there was a big snowstorm. We can´t go
out.’ I asked: ‘Do we have some food, or will we die?’ She said without
hesitation: ‘We´ve got some food in the cellar. If you want some, you can go
there.’
It was time for lunch and I was very hungry. It wasn´t a long way to our cellar.
‘It isn´t a hard work for me. I’ll be back in five minutes,’ said I. I walked
downstairs. I opened the door and I looked around the room. I saw a window.
‘Maybe there isn´t snow. I will look outside.’ I opened the window. All snow
that was near the window fell into the cellar. It threw me to the other side of the
room.
I shouted the strongest I could. My mother helped me away from the snow hell.
Then I went to my bed and I slept for the rest of that terrible day. Next day,
when I woke up, I didn´t see any snow. It was a brilliant feeling.
