The document outlines several ideas that were generated based on things that annoyed the team. The ideas included an app called "Skype for Musicians" that would allow musicians to jam together remotely, an "Urgency App" to reduce waiting times at hospitals by providing estimated wait times and connecting patients to freelance doctors, and an app linking laundry service providers with customers called "Wash Me". The document discusses the pros and cons of each idea before concluding that "Wash Me" was selected as the most viable option for the team to pursue given its independence and ability to adapt to project deadlines.
2. How we got to
the idea:
We focused on things that
annoyed us the most!
3. What annoyed
us?
o Not being able to jam with friends via
internet!
o Huge waiting lines in hospitals!
o No time to take care of your laundry!
o Many other things we cannot reveal…
4. Not being able
to jam…
When some bands’ members are not near or if
someone wants buddies to play a song, there is
simply no play.
The “Skype for Musicians” idea would be a computer
program that with adapted hardware would connect
the musical instruments to computers and no wireless
independence would be concerned.

PROS
Huge and recognized
problem, no competitors.

PROS

CONS
Huge investment on the
hardware that is not
invented yet.
7. Huge waiting
lines...
The stress created around the waiting lines at the
Hospital’s urgency would disappear by using the
“Urgency App”. It would give the hours expected
based on the “urgency type” of the hospitals neared
by, and also the free-lancer doctors that would be free
to deliver a service.

9. Huge waiting

CONS
Dependency of the
Government Identities,
uncertainty about
revenues.

10. No time to do
the laundry…
Who likes to take the responsibility to clean/iron the
cloth? No one right? And even that you pay the
laundry service, you may not have the time to pick
up! Because of these problems founded, an APP
would do a link between the laundries service
providers and their consumers!

13. “Wash Me”
then…
After the team’s evaluation and motivation, the “Wash
Me” app (later named) was the chosen one! While the
other two alternatives were quite dependent on other
too “broad” identities or researchers, the “Wash Me”
showed more dynamism and it was possible to adapt
to course deadline.
