All stories need to focus on the individual and their path toward reaching their goals. Stories written
promoting their businesses will not be accepted. The readers need to know the how-to of their successes.
All stories can be creatively written but should answer the questions of the sections in the magazine. (How
did you choose to grow to be a ____, get organized, break down your goals, how do you make a living,
what was your grow to be moment, and how did you overcome problems.
Photos: Grow To Be will feature a monthly photo story that features nine pictures (one picture per section
that relates to a quote for each section of the magazine) We are looking to feature one photographer a
month for this feature story. In addition we accept photos for stories and features as well. State
availability with submission. Can submit gif/jpeg files. Identification of subjects required and negotiates
payment individually.
GTB doesn’t employ a full time Illustrator and looks to use freelance illustrators for articles. are used

Magazine needs Part Time Sales people.
Grow To Be magazine a new online publication written to inspire people to turn their dreams into reality is
looking for two individuals who are independent and comfortable making sales calls or email contact from
their home. This individual sets their own hours between 8-5 (or at least when you can catch the person
who makes the decision) working as many or as few hours as needed to sell ad space in the magazine.
Perfect for stay at home parents, students and seniors, you simply call or email companies and introduce the
magazine and offer them ad space. The position is commission based with bonuses and can be completed
from the comforts of you own home. We are open to traditional companies as well as web-based
businesses allowing you the freedom to solicit companies by phone or Internet. Interested parties send an

Job Duties
To contact companies with the intention of selling them ad space with in GTB. Reps will make initial
contact and verify that they are communicating with the decision-maker. Once that has been established
they can email all sales information and follow-up with the contact for the final decision.

Research Intern Assistant
Grow To Be magazine a new online publication written to inspire people to turn their dreams into reality is
looking for an individual who can help with the day to day researching projects of a magazine. The chosen
candidate’s responsibilities will include story database creation, setting interviews, story validation and
web promotions. The job requires five hours a week open to your schedule and can be completed from
your home. This position is not compensated (as of now, as the magazine grows we plan to pay an hourly
rate) but has opportunities to earn commission and can be competed for school credit. Send email and
