The document provides information about procedure texts and examples of how to write them. It defines procedure texts as containing steps to perform a process in sequence. It outlines the typical structure as having a title, optional materials list, and required steps section. It also describes language features like using simple present tense, imperatives, action verbs, and connectives. An example procedure for making cupcakes is provided to illustrate this, with ingredients listed and steps numbered in sequential order. A second example gives instructions for caring for skin during cancer treatment.
