7. CASE STUDY
The case study provided to us is to design a multifunctional furniture which can be used in both residential and
commercial space. We have to make it multi purpose and the furniture should not take much space. As because of the
space for living is becoming less and less so the furniture should relates with the actual condition.

8. SYNOPSIS
For the designing of multifunctional furniture I first did research on the types of multifunctional furniture's available in
market. After seeing them I have come up with my idea of designing a multifunctional sofa with drawers and rack
facility. Sofa can come out from the rack. For this I have shown all the orthographic projections detail, cut sections ,
assembling drawing and render view of the furniture I have designed.
