   FBR Branch Boys and Girls Club NSBE Jr. Chapter is a Junior Chapter of
    the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE Jr.).




   The program is focused on helping students to understand what
    different science and technology fields involve, to plan for college and
    careers in one of these fields, and to get excited about the possibilities.
General Body meetings of the chapter are held at The FBR
Branch @THEARC. Meeting days are the first and third
Saturday of each month (Elite Saturdays), times are to be
announced. There are workshops every meeting and students
may choose from a variety of topics. Some of the workshops
are:

  Programming
  SAT/ACT Preparation and College Admission
  Team Engineering Design Challenge
  Cultural Awareness
  Professional Development
  Parent Workshops!

As a chapter of the largest student run organization the FBR NSBE Jr. Chapter has
its own executive board.

   Executive Board Positions:

     Secretary
     Treasurer




Participating in this board allows students to have their own say in activities
and events and prepare them for leadership roles in school and their
profession.
 Fees:   Annual membership fee is $5.
 There   are also separate costs associated with
   - NSBE Fall Regional Conference
   - NSBE National Convention
   - Summer Camping Conference
