It is an operating system for mobile phones primarily used on

Symbian originated from EPOC, an operating system created by

establish Symbian Foundation.

partnership with Microsoft and adopted
Windows Phone as its primary smartphone

On 22 June 2011, Nokia made an agreement with Accenture for an
outsourcing program.
And Symbian will be its franchise platform (dropping Symbian as

Accenture will provide Symbian-based
software development and support services
to Nokia through 2016; about 2,800 Nokia
employees became Accenture employees as
of October 2011.

operating system and software platform
created by Google.
Android Inc. was founded in Palo Alto of
California, U.S. by Andy Rubin, Rich miner,
Nick sears and Chris White in 2003
Later Android Inc. was acquired by Google in
2005. Android is open source and Google
releases the code under the Apache License.
Hardware that support Android are mainly based on ARM architecture
platform.
Android applications are written in java programming language

3GS. It was released
on June 17, 2009. It had added features such as copy
and paste, and MMS.
iPhone OS 4.x-iOS 4 was made available to the public for the iPhone and
iPod Touch on June 21, 2010. With new features such as multitasking.
16. iPhone OS 5.x- iOS 5 was previewed to the public on June 6, 2011. It was
released for iPhone, and ipad on October 12, 2011.
iPhone OS 6.x- iOS 6 was announced and previewed on June 11, 2012 and
was stated as Fall 2012.
iPhone OS 7.x- Apple announced iOS 7 on June 10, 2013 at its annual
WWDC event, with release announced for September 18, 2013. With this
release, support was dropped for the iPhone 3GS and the iPod Touch (4th
generation).

"Do Not Disturb" mode, allowing users to avoid calls and notifications

20. Blackberry OS 1.0- In January 1999 the BlackBerry OS made its debut
and it was released for the Pager BlackBerry 580.
Blackberry OS 3.0- In March 2002; Released on the BlackBerry 5810
smartphone.
Blackberry OS 5.0- On August 4, 2008, it was released on the
BlackBerry Bold 9000 and came to the other BlackBerry smartphones a
short while after its release.
Blackberry OS 4.0- Released on 01 June 2003.

Blackberry OS 7.1- Released on January 9, 2012. It is an updated
version of blackberry OS 7.0.
