3. INTRODUCTION
• Narendra Modi, Indian politician and
government official who rose to become
a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata
Party (BJP).
• In 2014 he led his party to victory in
elections to the Lok Sabha (lower
chamber of the Indian parliament), after
which he was sworn in as Prime
minister of India.
• Prior to that he had served (2001–14) as
Chief minister (Head of government)
of Gujarat state in western India.

• Narendra Damodardas Modi
was born on 17 September
1950 to a Gujarati Hindu
family of grocers in
Vadnagar, Mehsana district,
Bombay State (present-day
Gujarat).
• He was the third of six
children born to Damodardas
Mulchand Modi ( c. 1915–
1989) and Hiraben Modi
(born c. 1920).
5. EDUCATION
• Modi completed his higher
secondary education in
Vadnagar in 1967.
• In 1978 Modi received a
Bachelor of Arts degree in
political science from the
School of Open Learning
(SOL) at the University of
Delhi,graduating with a third
class.
• In 1983, he received a Master
of Arts degree in political
science from Gujarat
University, graduating with a
first class.

• Topped the list of most popular leaders in the world.
10. CONCLUSIONS
• Narendra Modi serving as the PM of India is a Member of
Parliament(Lok Sabha) from Varanasi Constituency.
• Despite of facing many obstacles in his personal and
political life,he not only turned up to become a great
leader but also acquired the most important political
position in a state i.e. Chief Minister that too thrice.
• He had inspired me with specific qualities such as hard
working and strong leadership which i will try to
inculcate in me.
