To analyze the status of Health Services
based on HMIS indicators in Gaya District
To identify the gaps in Health Services in
PHC of Gaya District through HMIS study.
Target Facility- 23 PHCs of Gaya District
Sample Design– Findings on Health Services of
all the Blocks in Gaya District were recorded and
documented
Data Collection Process– The Data for 23 Blocks
were collected from HMIS portal. The findings is
based on visit to 7 district those were visited for

gests the need of
another training
program to retain
the quality of data.

shows no reporting
which suggests that
the HMIS offices
either don't know
how to report or
there is absence of

blocks ,and Institu-
tional Deliveries
cases is less in all
the Blocks, the gaps
need to be identi-
fied.
The District is suf-
fering with high
TFR but the Family
Planning methods
still shows a low
score.
Data uploaded on
the HMIS server
was different than
those found out
after the physical
verification.
FINDINGS
Training is a continuous process and there is a need
to retrain the staff for quality reporting.
HMIS Review meeting needs to be organized on
regular basis to improve the Quality of information.
Regular analysis of the Blocks’ data by the district
officials to identify the service gaps and take deci-
sions.
It is suggested that higher level official must moti-
vate the lower level level official so that the correct-
ness of data is maintained.
