Became certified as a Nursing Assistant in 2008
 Worked for Hospice for over 3 years
 Caring for patients who are in the last stages of life has made
me view the world in a different way.
 Each patient has to be cared for differently, because every
diagnosis is different. Just like in our everyday life, every
person deserves to be treated as a unique individual.

Missions Trip
During Spring Break of 2010 I went to the Yucatan to
help a nearby village.
Working in the fields of Mexico was a challenging experience that
required me to step out of my comfort zone. Taught me better
communication skills, along with service skills, and always
maintaining a humble spirit.

Study Abroad
Received a minor in Spanish while living a full
semester in Seville, Spain
It was such a challenge to have to leave my own country and
learn to live in new customs. This opportunity made me realize
how much I love working overseas and learning about different
cultures.
