2. ABOUT
THE

until and in preparation for marriage.
To train youths to become effective peer
mentors
To educate parents and counselors on
how to improve parent-child
communication, especially as it relates
to discussing sexuality.
To promote life vocational skills
development for youths and financially
disadvantaged women by providing
information resources to encourage
academic and vocational excellence
To provide remedial education,
leadership training and spiritual
formation to in school and out of school
youths with educational difficulties
through a self-paced learning system.
4. Our History
The Educator started in the living of the founder
Eniabitobi Kuyinu in 1998 when she looked out
of her study window and saw the security guard
in her home leading a ten year old girl who was
selling groundnut into his gate house. She ran out
and found him undressing the child and his pants
already down. She was enraged by this incident
but in the midst of it, her eyes opened to the
plights of the underprivileged in the society
especially the young people who had no one to
mentor them and teach them right from wrong.
She was also confronted with the impact of
poverty on the youth especially young girls. This
episode led to the birth of a project called
JOURNEY TO SELF DISCOVERY.
This eventually gave rise to the Frank Talk which
covered a larger audience of young people. The
Frank Talk program is an interactive forum for
teens and youths, where issues relating to sexual
integrity and self-development are addressed.
The Educator has been responsible for a number
of projects over the years which include Medical
Mission Trips to rural communities in Nigeria,
Setting up of Makoko Community Project,
Empowerment of high risk girls and girl coming
out of prostitution, Frank Talk programs,
Reawakening Dance for Purity Competition,
Training of Teachers and Counselors working
with Teenagers, Camp Retreats for young Adults.
The Educator also partners with a Home for
widows and Orphans to offer empowerment,
networking, and administrative support.

14. I met the Educator in 2009,
after I had finished my SSCE
in 2005 when all hope
seems lost thinking I will
not further my Education but my story
changed when I encountered The
Educator. In 2012, The Educator
encouraged me to take JAMB, and they
paid for it. I was also prepared for the
exam through their Learning centre, and
to God’s Glory, I gained Admission into
school. I’m proud to say I’m now a
student of UNIBEN studying
Microbiology under scholarship from
the Educator, my Church, and other Well
wishers… David
ADVANTAGE LEADERSIP ACADEMY….CONT…
When I joined The Educator
three years ago, I was an
unserious student who
cheated in his exams but
was tired of that kind of life
and got counsel from The
Educator, went through ASAP in their
Learning centre and I went back to write
my exams and did exceptionally well. I
regularly use the resources in the
Learning Center and I now help to teach
others Math & Science subjects. I am
currently studying Mathematic at
University of Lagos - Kanayo

15. Being a member of The

lot through the ASAP
(Accelerated Success
Achievement Program)
that I went through during Easter
Camp, and it has helped my reading,
taking notes generally. Presently I’m
on scholarship from The Educator after
so many years out of school, The
Educator equipped me through the
Learning centre and now I’m a final
year Geography and Regional Planning
student of Lagos State University….

of unforgetable impact and a

The Dance ministry, WAIT

the Personality Assessments
which has helped in the selection of an
appropriate and expedient career for my
pursuit amidst lots of attractive but
confusing and distractive options . I am
now a stalwart, bonafide student of
Management and Accounting in OAU
and an effective leader. Kudos to The
Educator and ultimately God. - Dammy
16. ADVANTAGE LEADERSIP ACADEMY….CONT…
The Educator has been a
source of inspiration to me
and has helped me in so
many ways, in terms of self
confidence, improvement in
my dance skills, spiritual
life. I was part of the
transformational Leadership Camp in
Songhai 2013, It was really worth the race
of travelling down from my school to
Cotonou (Songhai) because, all what I learnt
at the camp can’t be taught even in our so
called universities. I enjoyed my stay here
and believe my faculty of reasoning has
changed. - Janeth
The Educator has been a
blessing to my life, even as
an entrepreneur, the
Educator ensured I got
acquainted with skills to
enable me be the best in
my area of specialization which is
Branding/Communications. Through the
Educator, I went through a training with
Junior Achievement Nigeria, and other
entrepreneurial platform. Today, I’m
stronger professionally. The Educator
also gave me referrals to Clients.
