This document provides torque and tip prescription values for different tooth types and positions using Self-ligating Appliance (SWA), Roth, and McLaughlin Bennett Trevisi (MBT) bracket prescriptions. For the upper teeth, SWA prescribes 5-11 degrees tip and -7 to 9 degrees torque for centrals through molars. Roth prescribes 5-13 degrees tip and -2 to 12 degrees torque. MBT prescribes 0-8 degrees tip and -7 to 10 degrees torque with full bracket slot filling for rotation. Values for the lower teeth follow a similar pattern across the three prescriptions.
