light. God saw that the light was good, and He separated
the light from the darkness..."
God created light, NATURAL LIGHT. We all love light.
However, most of our love affair is with unnatural light.
But just as God separated the light from darkness,
sometimes we should do the same thing. We need to
separate ourselves from unnatural lighting. What am I
referring to? Conservation. Energy.

•Use energy efficient (CFL) bulbs save energy.
Save energy = save money. Save Energy =
help the planet. It's just that simple.

•Purchase products made from recycled
content.
•Support businesses that sell locally
grown produce.
•Buy “Made In The USA” products.
13. 5. When Doggie Do, Pick Up His
Poo
Dog waste can leech into storm water drains from
water runoff.
"Stormwater can pick up debris, chemicals, dirt and
other pollutants and flow into a storm sewer system
or directly into a lake, stream, river, wetland or
coastal water. Anything that enters a storm sewer
system is discharged untreated into the water bodies
we use for swimming, fishing and providing drinking
water..."

• In most municipalities, littering is against
the law.
• Teach your children not to litter under any
circumstances.
• Littering adds to stormwater runnoff
pollutants.

• Dine Green
• Plant a vegetable garden in your back yard
• Eat organic
• Drink coffee from socially responsible suppliers
• Eat less meat (ex. Meatless Mondays)

touch.
