The two top city officials also
lauded the COAHS-CON men-
tors, led by COAHS Dean Per-
ry Ishmael Peralta, COAHS
Associate Dean Cariaga, and
COAHS-CON Executive Di-
rector Domingo.
“What a good way to start the
school year with this series of
wins! As UMak moves into the
Outcomes-Based Education
approach in learning strategies
to mold the „UMak Brand of
Student‟ who is „Maka-Diyos,
Maka-Tao, Maka-
Kalikasan at Maka-Bansa,‟ (Pro
-God, Pro-People, Pro-Nature,
Pro-Nation) let this serve as an
inspiration for other students to
emulate to make it to the
top. Congratulations to the
winning COAHS-CON team
and thank you for giving great-
er honor to our university. We
look forward to more UMak
topnotchers and successful
board passers in November!”
The traditional UMak pinning
and capping ceremony for the
newly registered nurses was
held last June 26. This year
marks more than a decade of
UMak NLE passers and the
university‟s performance last
month has been the strongest
with more than 50 exami-

achieved 100% passing rate for
less than 50 examinees in both
the June and December exam

UMak garnered its highest
overall passing rate of 88% for
50 examinees.

designated Dean Josephine
Rupert, University Secretary
and former Dean Elyxzur Ra-
mos, and Accountancy and
Financial Management Depart-
ment Head Marlo Gile.
“You make us proud! Thank
you for reconfirming that our
innovations work. We have
truly become a leading educa-

stand at par with bigger and
better-funded colleges and uni-

batch of striving but promising
UMak accountants,” said Presi-
dent Lopez.
Dela Cruz was batch valedicto-
rian and top summa cum
laude graduate in the recently

According to Professor Gile,
the three top honor graduates
