Size Pack Multiplier and Size ratio of each fit based upon the shelf life and selling ratio of each delivery.

1. Comparison of yarn quality parameters between a conventional and compact spun yarn (June, 2007 - July, 2007): The compact spun yarn greatly enhances the properties of the
yarn and its performance in subsequent processes by eliminating spinning triangle. So in the project different counts of worsted yarn were spun on conventional and compact
system. The yarns were compared to see the percentage difference in the different yarn quality parameters to analyze the effect of improvement in properties on downstream
processes.
2. Study of loom efficiency (June, 2007-July, 2007): The efficiency of the loom determines largely the production rate, cost of production and the quality of the fabric. To increase
the efficiency of the shed ,the no. of breakages and the cause behind them was ascertained for one loom hour on every loom in the shed .The efficiency of the shed was calculated
,the dominant cause of breakage was analyzed and worked upon to increase shed efficiency
