3. 2003, MICROPOWER AQUIRES POWERFINN
• Salo plant focus on 600 – 3200W 1-phase 230VAC chargers.
• Växjö plant focuses on 5- 80kW 3-phase 400VAC chargers.
• Growth continues steadily on a rader traditional industrial market
and reaches 45M€ in 2017.
• The largest customer buys its key supplier.
• The charger products in Salossa and Växjö compliment each other well.
• The customer base is found in electric trucks, utility vehicles and
moving machines (NOT mainstream automotive market).
4. 2017 - MICROPOWER INVESTS IN LI-ION
• LIONBRIX target is to offer a complete solution to the customer from one supplier.
• LIONBRIX concept is developed in record time:
– BRIX Li-ION Battery Module
– eBRIX BMS, Battery Management System
– Li-Ion enabled and optimized Battery Chargers
• First LI-Ion BRIX factory is opened in Växjö 2018.
• Micropower Oy moves into Salo IOT park premises
• New Li-Ion BRIX factory is opened in Växjö 2020.
