Fireblock hollow metal doors are

Door leaves are formed from two
separate sheets of metal (door
skins), which are profiled, folded
and interlocked along horizontal
and vertical edges. Combined with
a bonded high-density performance
core, this creates a rigid and robust
door leaf. The skins are profiled and
internally reinforced with concealed
fixing to accommodate specified
ironmongery and door accessories.
Particular emphasis is given to
internal and external provision for
door ironmongery and accessories to
ensure that all surface fixing have
solid grounds.
FIRE
RESISTING
COMMERCIAL DOORS

Fireblock can offer a unique
range of fire resistant doorsets,
up to 300 mins (5 hours), for
hinged and sliding doors,
latched and unlatched, with or
without glazed apertures, and
with a variety of size options
and access variables. Tested to
both BS 476 part 22 1987, and
EN 1634-1 2000. Performance
tested and certified by
Warrington Fire Research Centre.
We offer a total fit out solution
from one supplier.
Fireblock doorsets are also
available with 30 minute, 60
minute and 120 minute ratings.
Finishes include, etched primer,
finished paint, polyester powder
coating, and polished stainless
steel. We can provide a myriad
of ironmongery, automation
and access control. Glazed vision
panels for internal and external
applications.

RESISTANT
Fireblock blast resistant metal
doorsets combine blast and
pressure resistance and yet
function similarly to standard
hollow metal products without
compromising on it’s aesthetic

EXR2 of CEN 11322 with
ratings of up to 47Kn/m2 by
an International Independent
Test laboratory.

4. ACOUSTIC SLIDING
DOORS
Fireblock has designed and
manufactured a range of
acoustic doors tested by AIRO
to BS EN ISO 140-3: 1995 and
BS EN ISO 717-1: 1997.
A wide range of acoustic
attenuations are available
with full certification from
AIRO. All acoustic doors can
incorporate fire resistances of
up to 240 minutes.
Fireblock’s acoustic range can
also be profiled with vision
panels and any ironmongery
specifications.
Noise at work regulations
1989 require sound levels to
be maintained within clearly
defined limits. However, even
below these parameters noise
can at the least constitute a
nuisance and at the worst,
seriously affect health as well
as the quality of life and work
conditions.
Along with the acoustic doors,
Fireblock has recently
developed a full range of
glazed screens and windows
with acoustic properties.
Along with our standard
hinged doorsets, Fireblock
also manufacture single and
double leaf sliding doorsets.
The quality and aesthetic
appearance are second to

be fire rated up to 300 mins
and are available in a number

introduced a range of louvred
ventilation grills, synonymous

We can offer fire and acoustic

doors or as independent units.
All louvres are manufactured
from profiled stainless steel,
to your specific requirements,
with a choice of finish, and
any colour from the BS or RAL
range.
Louvres can be supplied with
option of insect mesh fitted
internally, and colour coded
to match.
All louvres can incorporate the
unique features of the door
range for ease of on site
installation to steel or
masonry situations.
The Fireblock window range is
