1. To whom it may concern.
I have worked closely with Tracy, when she was a Project assistant for a large IT and Business
Transformation Project at Vodacom. This was during the years, 2011 to 2013. During that time I
worked for IBM, and led the Organisational Change team for the Transformation project for Vodacom,
working very closely with the Programme Manager.
In this programme Tracy was responsible for a number of items which included Project administrative
support , invoicing, financial reconciliation, contract administration, travel arrangements, reporting, etc,
plus she supported the entire team , which while I was there was about 40 people, on a large number of
administrative and logistic items.
In this time, even though this work load was difficult at times, as this was a very large, multi million rand
project across more than 3 years, she always remained extremely positive, and was the life and soul of
the office environment.
Tracy was also always caring about and cheering everyone up, in a very appropriate way for the project
environment that had many an obstacle to overcome. Tracy was also always the main organizer for any
social events and farewells that needed to take place, which she did extremely well.
Further to this Tracy was always very proactive, planning ahead on all the information to be collected for
month end and other deadlines, and chasing people up for the information in a way that they felt they
wanted to give it to her, as she contributed so much to the team.
Her pro-activeness went further than this to notice things that had to be done and organized and often
coming to me for advice, when she noticed things needed additional help and attention.
Tracy was also always prepared to go the extra mile, to help other team members on their deadlines or
difficult work, and she took it on her shoulders to make sure that everything ran smoothly.
Tracy also has huge tenacity and determination, as evidenced by the many different roles and jobs she
has been successful in the past, plus her huge determination to successfully complete her studies in
difficult personal circumstances.
I would employ Tracy in many different jobs if I had the chance in future, due to her attitude and
versatility; she is always an asset to the team. I am sure she will be successful at whatever she decides
to do.
