• What is a Blog?
– Web publishing tool that allows authors to quickly
and easily self-publish text, artwork, links to other
blogs or Web sites, and a whole array of other
content
• What is can a Blog also be known as?
– Weblogs
• How are Blogs formatted for users?
– Set-up like conventional Web sites, with navigation
links, and other standard Web site features

• What do you know?
– Blogs are website in which people can
communicate their view, thoughts & opinions
• What do you want to know?
– Students what to learn how to create a blog and
post a entry
• What are you trying to measure,
determine, or define?
– Instructor will elevate a blog account & blog
post entry posted by the student at the account
that was set up by a student and verify the
account existence
5. Needs Assessment Cont.
• How will you collect and record information?
– Student will email a link to their account with a
posted student entry to the instructors email to verify
that they have created account
• How will you report the information you collect?
– If the students email the link & the post have been
verified student will be graded on the basis of if they
attempted the activity
6. Do Activity Description
• Hands On Activity with guided practice
• Instructor will have a follow along activity
example
• Students will then emulate the example
shown by creating their own account and
make a post
• Student will be then email the instructor a
link to their blog with their created post
