• An energetic and hardworking individual: eager to continue learning and develop within the property industry, more
specifically in the areas of residential property management, valuation and property development.
• Undertaking and completing the APC (to become member of the RICS and to qualify as Chartered Surveyor) is an
important personal development goal. Qualifying with MERIT in the MSc Real Estate Management from Oxford
Brookes University, I spent my formative years working primarily in the hospitality & events industry. However there
is now a real appetite to build upon my current role as Residential Property Manager at Bursha Holdings Ltd.
• My interest in and passion for property has also stemmed from an ongoing involvement with a small family estate in
the Yorkshire Dales. This consists of agricultural land and buildings, as well as a range of residential assets. I have also
therefore gained valuable insight into some of the property management & development processes in rural England.
Current Employment
Bursha Holdings Ltd September 2013 - Present
Residential Property Manager
I joined Bursha in September 2013 on a short work experience placement, but have stayed on after being given the role as
residential property manager. The residential portfolio consists of 22 flats & maisonettes, held in the London districts of Mayfair,
Belgravia, Knightsbridge, South Kensington and Peckham.
My day to day duties include:
• Ongoing liaisons with tenants, letting agents and utility companies.
• The sourcing of a range of sub-contractors e.g. plumbers, roofers, gas certificate engineers, electricians, inventory
providers, EPC providers, cleaning services and damp & mildew specialists.
• To oversee the in house maintenance management team.
• Refurbishment projects
• Keeping up to date the: maintenance log, income vs expenditure spreadsheet and individual property log books.
Prior to this I worked as assistant to the Legal Counsel, where I was involved in the preparation of heads of terms, tenancy
agreements and renewals for some of the firm's Shopping Centre tenants in Northampton, Milton Keynes and Taunton. I also
worked closely with some of the Shopping Centre managing agents, ensuring that the strategy for the Centres was being
implemented.
