biology, environmental biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry and aquaculture. Teaching
responsibilities include delivery and coordination of the practical classes of Fisheries and Aquaculture,
delivery and coordination of three full modules including practical labs and lectures on: 1) Molecular
Biology and Biochemistry; 2) Molecular and Evolutionary Biology and 3) Laboratory Skills. I
also give support to modules coordinated by colleagues including: a) Literature Review; b) Research
Project; c) Marine Invertebrates; d) Basic Skills for Biologists; e) Cellular and Microbial
Biology and f) Masters Research Project in Environmental Biology. I am the academic mentor of
groups of 6 to 8 students - across all teaching levels.
