3. Over the summer I would like to either do a summer school course that will
better prepare me for my grade eleven courses or get a job.
I would also like to do lots of volunteer work! Over the summer I volunteered
with Place des Arts, helping out with their summer camps for little kids. It
was a great experience and I’d definitely be interested in doing it again.
I’m also going to be doing some volunteering around Christmas. For example,
I’ve already registered to help out with a lantern making craft fair. I can’t
wait!
5. Graduation
I’d like to survive high school, for starters. I hope that I can keep up a good
GPA until the end of grade 10.
I’m interested in going to either UBC or SFU considering the fact they’re both
nice universities that are close to my house. I’m going to do my undergrad
and then work toward the career of my dreams.
6. Career
My main career aspiration is to become a dentist!
Of course, I’d also be interested in pursuing something else in the medical
field. The main reason I’m interested in that field is because I enjoy the
sciences, and they’re pretty focused on them, and the fact that I enjoy
helping people out.
Being a lawyer also seems interesting. I’ve always loved debating and writing
persuasive essays. However, the field seems quite competitive once you get
into it.
7. Lifestyle
I’m hoping that I can live a comfortable life in the future.
By this I mean that I hope that I will have a nice house, a nice family, a
livable income, etc.
I’m not shooting for anything too high. I’ve never been all that interested in
say, becoming a celebrity.
If I could find a way to continue with my love of art and find a way to make a
living off it, I would love that. However, that usually comes for the lucky few
so it’s always good to use something like that as a backup.
8. Overview of Goals
Graduate high school with an A/B average.
Get into a good university, or at least a decent one for my undergraduate.
Then finish in a good one for pre-med/dental/etc.
Complete the eight years needed for most careers I’m interested in.
Get a stable job and then work toward making my life as comfortable as
possible.
Continue with my art and see where it gets me. If it doesn’t get me that far,
it’s no biggie. It’s quite an enjoyable pastime!
