Supervised accounting staff of 9. Worked with Project Managers to improve accuracy of Job
Cost Projections. Improved job cost phase coding and analysis. Assisted in the development
and setup of Prefab Department.
• Butler Asphalt Co., Inc. 2002-2006 -- Performed and managed all accounting, human
resources, and IT activities for a $9 million asphalt manufacturer and contractor. Supervised one
accountant, and one clerk. Improved inventory accuracy by 40%.
• Jeffrey R. Yocca Builder, Inc. 2000-2002 -- Performed and managed all accounting, human
resources, and IT activities for a $9 million single and multi-family home construction general
contractor. Supervised one accountant. Streamlined and automated funding processes with
primary lender, resulting in effective cash management. Worked with outside consultant to
return company to profitability after several years of substantial losses.

• Exxcel Project Management, Inc. 1998-2000 – Performed the general ledger accounting
functions, including reconciliation, prepared and analyzed financial statements, created budgets
for $94 million commercial general contractor. Processed payroll and payroll tax returns for +90
employees in multiple states. Developed and maintained a fixed asset tracking database utilizing
Microsoft Access.
Special Projects - Systems Implementations
• Mid-City Electric Co., Inc – Implemented the conversion of all accounting modules,
including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, job cost, work
orders, and purchasing from CMS to COINS, and from COINS to Spectrum. The
conversion involved extracting and formatting data using ODBC, Microsoft SQL, and
Microsoft Excel, re-designing chart of accounts, testing, and recreating management
monthly reports using Crystal Report Writer.
• Butler Asphalt Co., Inc. – Implemented the conversion of general ledger, accounts
receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and job cost from Maxwell to Foundation. The
conversion involved extracting and formatting data using Microsoft Access, ODBC, and
Microsoft Excel, re-designing chart of accounts, testing, and recreating management
monthly reports.
• Jeffrey R. Yocca Builder, Inc. – Implemented the conversion of general ledger, accounts
receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and job cost from DOS based software to
Timberline. The conversion involved extracting and formatting data using Microsoft
Access, ODBC, and Microsoft Excel, re-designing chart of accounts, testing, and
