1. The Immunology SpecialistAcademic (ISA) is accountable to achieve
sales quota by deliveringmarket share and market share growth, as
well as other key metrics in the assigned Territory. The individualuses
discretion and judgmentto execute the franchise and company brand
strategy and tactics within the assigned customer segment, which may
includephysicianswithin specialty medical practices and their staff,
specialists within local hospitals, clinics, and pharmacists within a
specific geographic area. The ISA influencesdecision makersand
influencerswithin assigned customersto supportthe useof the
company’s productsin the treatment of relevantdisease states by
developingand applyingclinicaland business expertise, and effective
selling skills. The ISA influencesdecision makers by developingand
deliveringa targeted sales message based on accurate clinical
information, usesapproved medicalreprintsto supportthe case, and
discussestherapeutic strategies to influencedecision makers. The ISA
fully executes marketing strategies at the local level, leveraging
resourcesappropriately and workingsuccessfully withcompany team
membersand counterpartsto share ideas and information to enhance
businessresults. ISA is accountable to build customer loyalty by
identifyingand cultivating relationshipswith key decision makersat the
local levelwho can influencedecision making within the healthcare
provider systems.
The ISA is primarily responsiblefor achieving sales forecasts, gaining
access to promoted productsand, subsequently, sellingthese products
with Residents/Fellowsin targeted Rheumatology, Gastroenterology
and Dermatology teaching institutions. This is accomplished by
establishing mutually beneficial, long-term businessrelationships with
influentialresidents, fellows, attending physicians, pharmacists, and
healthcare providerswithin the targeted institutions. The ISA is also
responsiblefor coordinatingAcademicsales strategies with appropriate
teammates to maximizesales in assigned institutions.
The ISA will be responsiblefor productaccess, acceptance and usage.
Create, implement, and evaluatestrategies to develop Fellows,
Residents, and Key Opinion Leaderswithin assigned institutions.
Develop, implement, and evaluatean effective business plan for each
assigned institution. Representcompany and scientific conventionsand
educationalprograms.
