4. Conclusion
Droplet transmission was prompted by air-
conditioned ventilation. Strong airflow from the
air conditioner could have propagated droplets
from table C to table A, then to table B, and
then back to table C
Patient B3 was afebrile and 1% of the patients
in this outbreak were asymptomatic, providing
a potential source of outbreaks among the
public.
To prevent spread of COVID-19 in restaurants,
the study recommend strengthening
temperature-monitoring surveillance,
increasing the distance between tables, and
improving ventilation30/4/2020 COVID-19 RISK COMM3/TENGKU HANIDZA 4
6. Here's what Trump said Thursday while looking in the direction of coronavirus response coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx
and Department of Homeland Security science official Bill Bryan: "And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it
out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a
cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be
interesting to check that. So, that, you're going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds -- it sounds
interesting to me."

11. Some people would accept a certain risk of
death for the chance to return to work.
Scientific community agreed that four things
MUST happen when we want to re-open:
1. Infection rates even when testing
2. Massive testing and contact tracing
3. Stronger and rapid response health care
system
4. Continued Movement Restriction
Many people don’t really understand why we’re sheltering
in place. If you ask them, they’ll say something about
flattening the curve, but when you press on what that
means, he said, “they get hazy. ” (Peter Sandman)

13. “I predict a new epidemic surge (incubation time
~5-7 days before onset symptoms, if any, and
transmission to associates around that time, even
among asymptomatics)… so increase in 2-4
weeks from now.” (Harvard TS Chan School of
Public Health)

14. Japan still has no stringent lockdown measures in place. Defy social distancing.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has urged residents to reduce contact
with other people by 70 to 80 percent, and the number of people
on Tokyo’s normally packed transport system has dropped
significantly. But the measures do not prevent people from going
out, and many shops and even restaurants remain open.

16. NZ ‘eliminate’ COVID (April
29,2020).
What is NZ doing?
“Success doesn’t mean zero
COVID-19 cases. It means zero
tolerance, which means that as
soon as we know we have a case,
we go in straight away, we’re
testing around that person, we’re
isolating them … we do our
interviews and contact trace to find
all the people who have been in
contact with them while they may
have passed it on, and we ask
them to isolate. That’s how we
keep stamping out COVID cases.”
(Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern)
At 11.59pm on Monday (Apr 27), New Zealand will lift
its level-4 lockdown which has been in place for more
than four weeks. During that time, almost all
businesses have been closed, along with schools while
the population has been asked to remain in their
homes for all but supermarket visits and short walks.
Level 3 will see retailers, restaurants and schools
allowed to reopen on a smaller scale. Schools will
reopen on Wednesday for children up to Year 10 who
cannot study from home, or whose parents need to
return to work.
18. Mitigating measures for
containing spread of COVID-19
Period MCO1 - MCO 4
The effect of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
response in China shows that quarantine, social
distancing, and isolation of infected persons can
contain the epidemic in other countries where COVID-
19 is beginning to spread.

22. 3Quarantine and
Isolation to reduce
imported cases
In Putrajaya, Malaysians returning from abroad have
to be quarantined at special centres as up to 15%
did not comply with home quarantine orders.
The ministry found positive cases in Malaysia
spread locally by those who came back from
overseas.
“We find that when we ask people to do home
quarantine, the compliance rate is about 75% to
80% because there are some who still go out ”
(Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham).
Previously, only those with Covid-19 symptoms were
quarantined for 14 days at MOH centres while
others were asked to self-isolate at home,
depending on their city of origin or health status.
