2. The Treatment
• Brief outline of the OPENING to our film
• We thought of an idea of an ex MI5 detective (Tareic) losing his briefcase
accidently where another man (Onur) picked up the wrong bag. This causes a
problem because Tareic’s briefcase contained dogdy goods which were meant
to be supervised and kept closely at hand.
• Brief outline of the WHOLE film
When the agent realizes his briefcase was switched he re traces his steps
He then realizes the person who swapped his case was another agency
We find out in the case contains information which could land high powered Mi5
generals into hot water
The rival agency puts a ransom on the case and a time limit
They have a big shoot out
The information is leaked worldwide
3. Subgenre
• We have chosen to do a Thriller Conspiracy movie.
Conspiracy thrillers which have influenced the making of our film is the:
• Bourne Series
• Collateral
• Enemy of the State
These movies contains many elements which we’ve used in our movie. The
in depth storyline and fast paced movie which may require a bit more
thought have influenced the making of our film.
5. Props and Costume
• We have two main characters in our thriller movie.
• Firstly we have the M16 worker who is on his way to the office. We
decided to portray him as a business man hiding his identity having him
dressed like this rather than a police officer costume.
• The M16 Agent will be dressed in a Black suit ,smart black shoes, Sliver
brief case and his business mobile phone
The second character has a lower profile
and we just dressed him in casual dark
clothing to portray his mysterious
character.

13. Risk Assessment
http://titles13group1.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/risk-assessment-thriller-movie-
planning.html
1. They are very costly so taking great care in the way we
handle and use equipment is key
2. Once in our possession we are responsible for the
handling and also have to be conscious that EVERYONE
else has to use the equipment so damaging equipment
can affect the whole team
3. Making sure the tripod is firmly fixed before the camera is
placed on
14. Skills audit to date
• What we have learnt about equipment :
1. Different skills such as , focus , zooming -in and out, black and white or
colour whilst filming
2. Learnt how to film from different angles to portray a characters image.
• Blogging Skills :
1. Learnt how to edit films on Final Cut pro and upload them on to the blog
2. There are many different creative ICT Media ways to blog your ideas on
such as Prezi , Youtube, Xtranormal, Go animate
3. Learnt how to embed video links from Youtube onto the blog
15. Institutional details
We want are production company to be Paramount pictures
because of their successful years at the top.
They were responsible for things like
• Shutter Island
• Saving Private Ryan
• The Godfather
16. Audience detail
• The audience we are aiming to attract is 15+ males and females who
enjoy conspiracy thrillers.
• Most thriller sub-genres will target males, due to many thriller films
containing fast paced and adrenaline filled scenes of action.
• Conspiracy thrillers have an older target audience, this is partly due to
the more complex narrative, containing more in depth storylines and
character backgrounds which may not appeal to a younger audience who
usually prefers more action than narrative.
