IPA Convention & Exhibition
2014. This sporting event is initiated for health awareness, enhance public enthusiasm, and to
socialize the oil & gas industry’s contribution to Indonesia. Charity / Donation will also be
given during this event.
5K RUN–WALK are welcome for IPA exhibitors, convention attendees, professional in oil &

4. The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Mr. Joko Widodo is expected to participate and
support the IPA 5K Fun Run & Walk, with the following activities :
1. To officially open the 5k Fun Run & Walk by waving the start flag in the
start/ finish line together with the IPA’s Board of Director.
2. Welcome to participate in the 5k fun run & walk.
3. Awarding the medals of honor to the winners (first place winner).
4. As symbolization, the charity for DKI Jakarta will be handovered
directly to the Governor of DKI Jakarta.

5. CHARITY ALTERNATIVES
Charity from the Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) will be given to DKI Jakarta’s government,
with the following alternatives :
1. Public Benches Donation
Public benches will be donated and can be placed by the government in pedestrian paths
around Jakarta. These donated benches can be placed in protocol roads, public parks, railway
stations and other public places.
2. Bicycle Donation
Donated bicycles to minimize the use of motor vehicles in Jakarta. Donations will be given to
selected government officers, teachers or students with special achievement.
6. 3. Outdoor Playground Equipment Donation
Outdoor Playground Equipments to be placed in several public parks
4. Donation to Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD)
In regards to the flood that strucks the capital city, donation can be made to BPBD, such as
tents or inflatable boats that will be use for executions.
5. Grow and plant trees at pedestrian area in Jakarta
Plant trees at pedestrian to absorb carbon dioxide, minimize the air polution and prevent soil
erosion. Thus, these suistainable programs are the most popular CSR.
