United Nations agencies in Rome, Italy,
are getting ready for Hunger Run 2013.
An annual fundraiser of growing importance in the Italian athletic calendar.
We invite to come on board as one of Hunger Run’s principal sponsors.
10K and 5K races start and finish on Viale delle Terme di Caracalla,
opposite FAO headquarters in Rome.
‘Athletic Village’ inside the adjacent Caracalla Stadium.
An unbeatable running experience through beautiful streets
of Rome’s historic centre.
Hunger Run has three main objectives:
• focus public attention on the fact that hundreds of millions of people
around the world are still living in chronic hunger
• raise funds to help hunger-affected communities meet their own food
needs
• strengthen bonds between people of Rome and the UN food agencies
headquartered in their city
Hunger Run attracts both professional runners and amateurs. Local people and
members of Rome’s large international community take part.
The 10K competitive race is open to professional runners,
with awards given to the top 10 male and top 10 female runners
Sponsorship is a high priority for us.
Association with the sponsor name brand will increase the prestige
of Hunger Run and help us continue improving the quality of this key event.
Sponsors make it possible for us send 100% of registration fees
to the beneficiary field project.
Funds raised this year will support a
livestock project at a school in the Sudan
• production of technical T-shirts for all participants in Hunger Run, 10K and 5K
• prizes for the top female and male runners in the 10K
(sports/workout clothing, other related items), and for the top ten
participating clubs
• a financial contribution to the organization of Hunger Run 2013
Specifically, we are seeking these forms of support from sponsor name:
Thousands of people register for Hunger Run, paying a fee of 10 euros each.
Sponsors help us cover organizational costs, raise the prestige of the
event, and provide a more interesting “gadget bag” to participating
runners.
Sponsor name will benefit from significant brand visibility throughout 2013,
including:
• outdoor advertising in Rome, including on public transport
• Hunger Run website
• coverage of your brand through our social networks
• promotional video
• national news release
• press conference at prestigious Rome Campidoglio (City Hall)
• in-store flyers and posters
• internal promotion among United Nations employees in Rome
• presence with a stand at Hunger Run’s “Athletic Village” in the
Caracalla Stadium
• gadgets in the ‘gadget bag’
