2. • Buxly Paints Limited shares a rich tradition of excellence in the paint
industry with a history dating back to 1933 when its paints
manufacturing activities started in the British India. After the partition of
the Indo-Pak sub-continent, Buxly was the first paint company to set up a
plant in Pakistan in 1948, followed by another plant in Chittagong (now
Bangladesh) and a second plant in Karachi.
• Over the coming years, Buxly became the largest national paint
manufacturing company in Pakistan with excellence in quality in the
Decorative Products as well as sophisticated coatings such as Epoxies,
Polyurethanes, Chlorinated Rubber and a host of other products.

company but that it has survived competition from the multinational
