• The Mint opened in 1899 and has the world’s
biggest coin, which is worth about 1 ooo ooo dollars
(Thomas).
• Gold can turn to a solid in 20 seconds (Taj).
• Ancient Egyptians were the first people to discover
and use gold for jewellery (Ava).
• Gold can be found in Kalgoorlie and Coolgardie
(Alyssa).
• Solid gold is heavy (Nadia).
• Gold is found underground (Riley).

• Sophie got to wind the clock(Connor).
• The bells have different weights, some light
and some heavy(Taj).
• The Bell Tower ahs 49 bells (Gagan).
