This letter is to express my interest in bring my years of experience from the mechanical, electrical,
trouble-shooting and related work in the commissioning and construction fields to your company. In
these troubled times, I know I can add productivity and safety to any task delegated to myself as well
as my peers.
As my enclosed resume indicates, my background includes more than two decades of service in
electrical, mechanical, maintenance and repair with interests in the fields of renewable technology,
mechanical, electrical projects and green technology.
As Praxair Inc., Commissioning Manager and Construction Manager, responsibilities that include
project cost and working hand in hand with operations and facilities and extended travel periods.
Laid off from Vestas America’s Blade resource division, with responsibilities including blade
assessment, remediation of components as well as QA/QC with supervision of crews and
subcontractors. My work with Vestas require extensive travel to many sites throughout the US and
Canada. I have also preform turbine commissioning, and have worked hand in hand with inspection
of components and systems for Siemens Wind on the Vasco Repower Farm.
In my professional career I have traveled extensively for long extended periods. At this point in my
career I’m looking for local employment stationed in western New York my home base. I am open
and willing to travel on limited base as required. I am an individual that enjoys working and will
work till the project job is complete and work for the betterment of the company. Overtime will not
be a problem and local travel will never be a issue.
I have a vast background and understanding of many disciplines, and have a great mechanical sense
and am considered quite mechanically inclined. Troubleshooting is probably my best asset. The
investigative process of problem solving is very intriguing to me as well as the process of Research
and education! In identifying a problem solving solution.
I have been utilized for construction projects for as well as field supervision and project
management over my work history. I believe that a great employee must be multifaceted and able to
adapt to any situation that may arise, work within project constraints and complete the task to the
best interest of my employer - safely.
Additionally, I have experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics, welding Stick
Mig and Tig, the Wind industry lead to hands on experience in PLC, servo’s and controllers, wide
range of repairs from the fiberglass field to commercial, industrial, residential field in HVAC,
plumbing, facilities, In building and repairing Fiberglass, Kevlar and Graphite fabric kayaks for over
15 years as freelance fabricator that always leads to great attention to details with high work ethics
and morals.
