Rusty worked directly for me at RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc as a
Regional Director of Maintenance. Rusty was a very hard working, trustworthy,
ambitious employee. He excelled in his position, was a top performer, and is
someone that can be trusted in an autonomous position.
Given a task and guidelines, he will get the job done and does not require follow
up or micromanaging. Rusty is well versed
in all aspects of convenience store facilities maintenance from HVAC,
underground storage tanks and lines, tank gauge systems, etc.
All of the RDM’s at Racetrac were trained and certified in the various systems
that were used such as Veeder-Root tank gauges, dispenser equipment
like Gilbarco and Dresser Wayne, Red Jacket STP’s, and all stage 1 and 2
environmental compliance issues. Rusty is very good
at time management and following up on tasks. He is capable of writing various
scopes of work and bidding out large projects
such as tank replacement, concrete tank pad replacement, etc. I do not put my
