o Riyadh Public Transport Control Center (Riyadh-KSA)

The Center controls the operation of buses, communicates
with the drivers and manages the passenger information
system, and tracking system. The center will ensure
integration between the metro and bus networks. In
addition to the administrative offices, library, training and
support rooms, the center will be used to manage the
unified automatic ticketing system and monitor security and
safety systems.

As Engineering Project Manager, where my key responsibilities are:
- Managing the engineering activities with full coordination with all parties (design, detailing, fabrication and erection)

o King Khalid International Airport-T5 (Riyadh-KSA) –

This building is the terminal 5 of the airport and it consists of 3
main parts: Main Terminal, pier building and bridges.
Terminal & pier roof has a stepped dome architectural
shape out of curved steel trusses (Trusses depth is variable,
maximum truss depth is 2.5m). These trusses are connected
to built-up steel columns. The terminal building has 12 blocks
and the pier has 8 blocks. Each block is 36m wide X 36m
length with an approximate roof height of 19m. This building
has 8 bridges (4m wide X 27m length X 4m height). The
scope of work for this project was to prepare the connection
design calculations, fabrication & erection.
o Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport
(Madina-KSA) –14000 Ton: [Client: TAV Construction]
This prestigious project is the new airport for Madina and it
consists of 3 main parts: Main Terminal, pier building and
bridges. The steel structure for terminal building consists of
88 palm trees – architectural shape. Each tree is 18m
wideX18m long X 9m height. The pier building consists of
steel roof with long hanging composite floor (28m width X
19m height X 845m long). The fixed bridges (16 bridges-6 to
9m width X 48m length X 9m height) consists of two floors &
roof with long spans side trusses (27m) that connects to steel
CHS columns. As an assessment to the erection team with all
design technical support have been provided for trees
assembly in the site, rotation and lifts. The scope of work for
this project was to prepare the connection design
calculations, fabrication & erection.

o Riyadh Metro –Line 4,5 & 6 Depot (Riyadh-KSA) –
7000 Ton: [Client: FAST]
This building is the depot of line 4, 5 & 6 for Riyadh metro.
It consists of 3 main parts:
> Stabling area.
> Wayside area.
> Rolling stock maintenance area.
This structure is a modified multi gable roof with
around300m Width X 1200m length X 14m height. My scope
of work was prepared the conceptual of connections
design.
o King Abdulaziz Int. Airport / Line Maintenance Hangar
(Jeddah-KSA) – 6000 Ton:
[Client: TAV-Al Rajhi-Leighton JV: TALJV]
This building is a huge hangar for Airbus A380 airplanes
maintenance. It has around 90m X 170m footprint and
about 42m height. The consists of long span trusses with 10m
depth, the entrance side has the main box truss that spans
170m and connects to the corner box truss columns. No
internal columns exist, only side and back columns are
available. The connections between the members are
complicated joint connections; some joints are 3m length
1.5m height with 3.5 tons weight. My scope of work was
study & prepares the erection methodology as storyboard
o King Abdullah Financial District [Parcel 1.09]
(Riyadh -KSA) – 1200 Ton: [Client: SBG - Permasteelisa]
The building is a 30-storey tower, meant as a commercial
and headquarters building (Very complex structures).
Our scope of work for this project was prepared the
connection design calculations, fabrication & erection for
the canopies, pavilions with Mezzanine & Penthouse steel
Roof.
o Arabian International Company New Shop
(Jeddah -KSA) – 4200 Ton: [Client: SBG - Permasteelisa]
The building is a new factory for AIC, The building footprint is
approximately 350m long and 125m wide and 27m height.
The structure includes the main hangar with (Paint Store,
Consumable Store, Transform, Maintenance Factory and
Office building). This factory has cranes capacities (5 ton, 15
ton, 30 ton, 60 ton). The scope of work was to do the
member design and connection design for the structural
steel building.
