This company majorly deals in Design, Supply & Installation of Pre-Engineered Buildings
like warehouses, production halls, fabrication shops, steel furnaces shed, steel glass factories,
coal storage shed, RDF Sheds & lime stone sheds for cement factories, Shopping Malls like
hyper star, Metro etc and Structures like platforms, interfloors (Mezzanines), conveyors
etc….
Job Descriptions:
Searching for resources to get an inquiry from the target market.
Contacting the target client for inquiry confirmation and if necessary then meeting the client
for inquiry taking that may involve the site visit for measuring dimensions with the surveyor or
through telephone.
Taking all the required data of the inquiry like detail parameters, location, usage, collateral /
hangings (if any) and also briefing the client about best possible solution according to his
requirement.
Discussing client’s requirement with company’s engineering team for their feedback to get
design loads & codes.
Assigning the particular job (inquiry) to my junior colleague to prepare its inquiry form (on
client’s and engineering team feedback) to send it for initial design.
Get in touch with company’s design team for its detail discussion to have its optimum weights.
Checking the received weights with initial inquiry to ensure that it is according to the giving
inquiry form of the particular job.

2. Discussion of its price estimate with seniors for supply and with erection dept. also to get its
erection rates.
Checking the Technical & Commercial proposal and its drawings according to client’s
requirement and if required, give particular instructions to proposal maker and draftsman for their
clarifications.
Sending these documents to client and then its follow up for its receiving confirmation.
Updating the RT (Request Tracking) system for inquiry’s current status.
Meeting the client for proposal and drawing discussion and if required, ask the seniors to
accompany.
After project awarding, prepare proper documentation to hand it over to company’s project
department for further process.
Time to time follow up with project dept. to get updates regarding its fabrication to meet the
committed timelines to client.
Estimation the different parts of structures in built up members and hot rolled (according to
design) like platforms, stairs, materials for steel structures.
Preparation of proposals for typical jobs assigning to me by seniors.
And many other jobs related to my job description.
