Roles and Responsibilities
 Inspecting the energy meter (1ph, 3ph, CT, TMC & BMC) on daily basis for various accounts
at all over FEWA coverage areas. (Fujairah,Dibba)
 Issuing violation / observation notice to consumers if any violation is found.
 Replacing the energy meters and CT at the time of requirement.
 Solving the problems analytically and making decisions.
 Updating the daily work progress reports on SAP (System Application and Products)
 Accessing and meeting the various accounts through GIS (Geographic Information systems)
 Answering emergencies on a 24/7 basis.

Roles and Responsibilities
 The oil level in oil cap under silica gel breather must be checked in one month interval. if it
is found the transformer oil inside the cup comes below the specified level, oil to be top up
as specified level.
 Breathing holes in silica gel breather should also be checked monthly and properly cleaned
if required, for proper breathing action.
 Reading of MOG (MAGNETIC OIL GAGE) of main tank and conservator.
 If the transformer has oil filled bushing the oil level of transformer oil inside the bushing
must be visually checked in the oil gage attached to those bushing. This action also to be
done monthly basis.
 Inspect alternator connections. These should be clean and free of corrosion. Clean or
replace as needed. Inspect all ground wires. Maintain clean and functioning grounds.
Application of anti-corrosion spray is desirable.
 Inspect the water pump front end for leakage. Replace as needed. Check the cooling system
coolant level and condition. Replace or add as needed. Inspect the cooling system belt
condition and tension. Pay close attention to any cracks or tears. Replace as needed.
 Check for any leaks in your fuel system. Drain and repair as needed. Check the condition of
fuel filters and replace them as needed.
 The air blast circuit breaker there is some special cares to be taken in addition to general
instruction of maintenance of operating mechanism. Actually for operating mechanism and
for other some features the maintenance process and schedule are same for all oil circuit
breaker, air circuit breaker,SF6 circuit breaker, the air leakage should be checked as when
it is required. If leakage found, plug the leakage.

 Ensure maintenance and efficient day to day operations of all plant boilers, feed water
pumps, turbine, generators, electrical distribution system, air compressors, etc.
 Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all key utility
equipment such as boilers, feed water pumps, turbine generators, electrical distribution
system, air compressors, etc.
 Identify and quantify potential savings associated with efficient use of steam, power and
water.
 Synchronizing the two side’s voltage and frequency (Grid and TG).
 To find out fault identification of earth fault, over load fault.
 Making daily reports of power generation in import and export
 Monitoring the apparent power, active power, reactive power, frequency, voltage, winding
temperature and motor amps.
