• Apps are classified into 3 types:
1. Desktop apps
2. Web apps
3. Mobile apps
• Desktop apps:
Apps can be used on PC, are called desktop apps
• Web apps:
They are webpages which needs internet connection to browse and can be used anywhere with internet.
• Mobile apps:
Apps which can be used on android and IOS.

Mobile apps can be classified into Native apps and Hybrid apps.
1. Native apps
Apps that are developed keeping in mind the device specifications are known as Native apps.
2. Hybrid apps
Contains features of both web apps and Native apps. These apps can be downloaded from play store.

2. Searchfor an app or search for a kind of app on the search bar.

• The way to install your app is to send the app to your email id.
• At step 20, don’t select the download tab, instead enter your email id in the received mail and click on submit tab.
• And the mail will be sent to your id with the name appy pie.
• Open the mail on your mobile and click on the given link.
• You will get the instructions for downloading and installing the app.
• Click on the launch button, this will download the app.
• When the download gets completed tap on the install button to install the app.
• Your app is now installed.
