Reviewing UI/UX StayUncle Based on my experience working with Desktop, Mobile applications over the past few year, I’ve have learn five general areas should consider when reviewing a user interface: • Design Elements • Text Elements • Link Elements • Visual Elements • User Interactions When reviewing the website we need to consider two things Do they look good? Do they work well?

a. Attraction – out there getting users to come to you
b. Activation – when they come to you engaging
c. Retention – encouraging users to come back

At very first when I landed on website it was
loading step by step images then fonts etc.. I
feel page should have loader first then the
site should load at once.
I see this big picture with a search form to
search for hotels but then I scroll down and I
see the header was not docked also after this
I have notice cities navigation which is not
visible at all

My Profile
I have not yet created my account and its
showing me “My Profile” made me surprise
after clicking on it I found a sign up layer
Rs.100 offer. I feel offer should be upfront
above the header which
I feel there should be “Sign Up | Login” in
header and the later after login it should me
My Profile.
On signup layer I have read the note “By
Signing Up you must agree to our terms and
conditions” I was searching for checkbox to
agree t&c I have not found it again a big drop
out.
There should be universal search box called
search by city in header

Search Form on home page
Clicking on checkin & checkout form
component the interaction should be
toggled as per scroll now it just open on top.
Arrow on guest & room selection has to be
on left side.
Also if we are giving one card for room &
guest selection then why do we need 2
forms components. Room & Guest should be
clubbed.
As we keep guest & room auto-field we need
to keep at-least checkin today’s date
auto-field. It will help user to search hotel
quickly.

Some design issues
Search button on hover is very weak user will
not feel more secure on clicking search the
color of search button hover should be very
rich.
The like heart and the ratings heart is
clashing with each other. I feel the universal
sign of rating anything is star we can check
on any travel site or google ratings its always
star.
Cards are overlapping on each other also.
Hotel price was not visible at first.
