Face-to-face learning helps those who need assistance in organizing themselves and
their studies. They can interact with their instructors and other students and share ideas
more easily. In some circumstances where active learning is involved, it is simply not
possible to carry out these activities on-line.
Remote
Self-Directly Study
Coming shortly to Svarna will be a variety of courses that can be purchased to study
anywhere. Self-directed learning allows a trainee or student to explore areas they
personally nd interesting. In addition to being more affordable and convenient, this
form of learning is surpassing classroom learning in many colleges and universities. We
at Svarna believe self-directed study and traditional classroom learning complement
one another. When used together, they can help our students learn and retain
information better. Over time, Svarna will release a wide variety of courses as these are
designed.
Where possible, and by request, individuals and small groups may be counselled or
instructed via Zoom. Online education enables the teacher and the student to set their
own learning pace, and there's the added exibility of setting a schedule that ts
everyone's agenda and allows geographically distant trainees to be involved without
having to travel. It also means it is possible to achieve a better balance of work and
studies, especially if a class can be tted into part of a work day.
All Svarna trainers and instructors are experienced in on-line instruction.
Svarna has a variety of teaching a training spaces in its facility in The Business Centre at
Burjuman. The space used will depend on the nature and size of the group. All spaces
are Covid-compliant. Masks are worn by instructors and trainees, and we following
regulations on social distancing.

Svarna is an authorized testing partner for Paper Based (PB) as well as Computer
Delivered (CD) by The IDP Education Limited Australia and was declared an award-
winning center by IDP in 2020. It is the only institute in the region that ensures high
scores for its candidates and has native English speakers to re ne your skills and
speaking and writing, the two areas where candidates usually require the most
assistance. Our success rate can be attributed to the individualized programs designed
to meet the speci c requirements of professionals. Regular mock tests with expert
feedback help develop con dence before the test.
Svarna offers two levels of preparation: general and premium. General preparation
involves joining a class with up to 15 other students, while Premium preparation will be
conducted with individuals or a very small group, by request. Premium clients have
access to native speakers for the spoken and written components of their preparation.
The IELTS syllabus is divided into FOUR parts:
IELTS stands for International Languages Testing System. IELTS opens the door to a
world of academic and professional opportunity in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the
United Kingdom and the United States, and anywhere where English is the main
language of communication in the workplace and society.

The course emphasizes a thorough understanding of English grammar along with

prepositions, conjunctions, collocations, tone and lexis.
This course is at elementary level and prepares for the next level until students are
ready for the higher English pro ciency of the IELTS examination.

Business English means different things to different people. For some, it focuses on
topics used in the worlds of business, trade, nance, and international relations. For
others it refers to the communication skills commonly used in the workplace, and
focuses on the language and skills needed for typical business communication skills,
presentations, negotiations, meetings, socializing, correspondence, report writing and a
systematic approach to anything in the eld of business.
English is now the global language of business and more and more multinational
companies are mandating English as the common corporate language. This course is
designed for advanced learners or executive level professionals who are busy in a fast-
pace business environment. Much of the professional business communication that
takes place within business circles globally occurs between non-native speakers. In such
cases, the object of the exercise is ef cient and effective communication and the rules
of grammar are observed.

At higher levels of English language learning, it is very common to reach a plateau so
this English course is pro ciency-based and combines your strengths in the four
different skill areas: reading, listening, writing and speaking. This course is extensive and

proposals, conducting conferences, meetings and seminars, preparing social
gatherings and, at times, involves scienti c and legal research activities.

TOEFL is the most accepted and respected English language pro ciency test in the
world. The test is accepted by many English-speaking academic and professional
institutions and is one of the two major English language tests in the world, the other
being IELTS. Those who want to go abroad for study or university entrance will nd that

universities in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK and the USA.
However, anyone who needs to demonstrate a mastery of English for an academic
purpose can take the TOEFL. This includes anyone applying to a foreign high school,

The reading section includes reading passages and sentence completions. Writing
requires a short essay and multiple-choice questions identifying errors and improving
grammar usage. Mathematics includes questions on arithmetic operations, algebra,
geometry, statistics and probability.

The scores are usually mailed out 4-6 weeks after you take the test. You may also

The SAT exam tests your knowledge of reading,
writing, and mathematics — subjects that are taught every day in high school. Most
students take the SAT exam during their junior or senior year of high school. A large
number of universities use the SAT test scores to make admission decisions.
The SAT exam (Scholastic Aptitude Test)and AP are recognized university
admission tests, particularly in the USA and Canada, or in jurisdictions where the
UK Advanced Level is not available.
Taking the SAT test/exam is the rst step in nding the right university for you as an

How many times is the SAT administered in a year?
SAT is a paper-based test administered 4 times in a year in the UAE. Advance
Placement(AP) takes place in May each year.
Eligibility criteria for SAT and AP?
School students planning to study in undergraduate colleges across the USA & UAE
write SAT and AP Tests. Some of the undergraduate colleges from other countries have
started accepting SAT scores for admissions in different study programs. There is no
minimum or maximum age for taking the SAT or AP exams other than the ability of

The Occupational English Test (OET) is a test of English for healthcare professionals. The
OET is used in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, Ukraine, Namibia and is
now accepted in Dubai, India and the Philippines. It assesses the Medical English skills
of a wide range of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses and midwives. The
OET is used by many organizations, including hospitals, universities and colleges, as a
proof of a candidate’s ability to communicate effectively in a demanding healthcare
environment. It is recognized by the Australian Department of Home Affairs and
Immigration New Zealand for all visa categories for non-native English nationalities.
The test is conducted by Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment Trust (CBLA).

The OET Intensive, which is suitable for all healthcare professions, is a 2-weekend
preparation course that provides students with the essential skills and test-taking

non-native accents, much like those you hear in lms, TV and other real-life
