 Developed the 5-year Business Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Mid-Year and Year-End Accountability Reports on
Upstream Technology Projects by partnering, coordinating and communicating with multiple levels of management
in 8 Administrative Areas and 40 Administrative Departments of the Upstream Business Line. This indicated the
portfolio health, team performance, key performance indices (KPIs), trend analysis and alignment to strategic
business objectives.
 Championed the implementation of SMART initiatives including designing KPIs for 40 Administrative
Departments of the Upstream Business Line and 6 upstream research teams, coached 100 users in SMART
initiative management, served as primary liaison between researchers and senior management.
 Developed Budget Forecasts of the 5-year Business Plan, Annual Operating Plan and Annual Capital Expenditure
Plans for the VP Petroleum Engineering on EXPEC ARC, a department of 250 employees including supervisors,
researchers, and staff
 Carried out research and wrote a proposal for a new Intellectual Property (IP) policy that was approved.
Responsible for designing, developing and implementing this IP policy in collaboration with key leaders from the
Corporate Law Department
 Prepared a detailed proposal and then designed developed and implemented templates for the Non-Disclosure of
Confidential Information Agreement (NDA, a legal contract) to comply with American, Saudi Arabian, and

 Creatively combined SAP Project HR & Project Contract data with a MS Excel Project Tracking System for
quarterly project status reports
 Project Manager of Technology Quests, conferences in the US & Europe of 200 international experts to
collaboratively solve technical Upstream R&D challenges for 80 researchers in 6 Upstream Research disciplines.

 Project Manager for the biannual EXPEC ARC International Advisory Council, a board of 5 independent,
internationally recognized external upstream experts that oversee and advise Saudi Aramco on Upstream R&D

2.  Consultant to Saudi Aramco’s Downstream R&D organization on the creation of an International Advisory Council
for downstream research. The EXPEC ARC International Advisory Council also serves as a template for future
upstream and downstream International Advisory Councils to guide the 5 new Global Research Centers in the US,

implementation of an SAP Hydrocarbon Management System that replaced the legacy model with a custom
