slow but sure process to make an individual capable of making adjustments
Removes emotional block

Depends too much on the ability & initiative to patient

7. Eclectic counselling
 Merits
More cost effective & practica ll approach
More flexible approach of counselling
Limitations
Role of counselllor and the counselee are not predetermined
Required more skilled counsellor to handle
