- Hello and thank you for attending. We’re very excited about our Sunworks PowerPay Mobile App, now available on the Apple App Store and the Google Play. If you have any questions during this webinar/demo, please feel free to ask. We’ll do our very best to answer the questions you have.
- For today’s demo, we’ll go over the following topics in detail: Sunworks PowerPay Program and Sunworks (the Company) Your Referral Business Spreading the Sunshine (how to share) Communication Tools Resources at your fingertips Additional information for questions you may have, as well as our contact information And then we’ll open it up for more questions or comments if there is time.
- This is Sammy Solar. He’s your Sunworks friend who will guide you throughout the app. We like to think of Sunworks PowerPay as your referral business in your pocket. Wherever you go and you have your mobile device with you, you can make and manage your referrals right at your fingertips. We’ll show you how easy this is in the following slides.
- So what are “Solar Referrals?” In the past, we receive happy customer referrals in a somewhat manual process. Our customers would call, submit a form or email us their referrals. This makes it a bitcumbersome for them as it’s an additional task they’ll have to make during their day. We then came up with a way to enable Referral Partners to easily make referrals using a device almost everyone has available today in their pockets- the mobile phone. In addition, we integrated functions that typically requires a phone call and make it easily accessible within the mobile app.
- But first, let me just summarize our company, Sunworks, to you. Sunworks is a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ Exchange under the ticker symbol: SUNW. We changed to this new ticket symbol in early 2016. Sunworks has over 30 years of solar integration experience in the industry. We have been a long established company of subsidiaries coming together to form a consolidated company. We have three guiding principles: 1) Do what’s best for the customer. 2) Do what we say we’re going to do, and 3) We keep our promises. And we back all of this up with an additional 25 Year warranty that covers our craftsmanship and the system’s performance. This makes is easy for the customer to go solar, knowing they will have peace of mind. Our headquarter is in Northern California (Roseville) and we have locations throughout the state as well as locations in Nevada and Oregon.
- Now we’re going to walk you through managing your referral business via the PowerPay mobile app.
- The Sunworks PowerPay program is available for every individual and organization and it’s free. So you can sign up as an Individual or an organization as a Referral Partner. Start this process by going to the Apple App Store or Google Play to download the “Sunworks PowerPay” mobile app. The icon is here for your reference. If you don’t want to search for the app, simple go to www.sunworkspowerpay.com and it will have links to download. Select what you represent: yourself or your company And then complete the rest of the required information to create the account. Read and accept the Terms of Service and select the Create Account button. When you do this, you will receive an activation email from Sunworks PowerPay with a link you must click on to activate your account. FYI, if you are an existing PowerPay Referral Partner and your email is already linked in our system, it will prompt you to simply invoke a password reset. The link to reset the password will be sent to your email address where you can click on it, reset your password and login. Once you activated your account, go back to the app and login.
- We have built-in guides within the app to prompt you along. So you’ll never be lost. Here’s Sammy Solar again walking you through as a new Referral Partner.
- The first step is for you to add a referral. You can click to add a referral by selecting the person icon with a plus sign or the “add referral” button. Select whether you are referring an individual or an organization. Once you select your option, follow the prompts to enter in the information requested. Don’t worry about unwanted phone calls from Sunworks. When you refer a friend, your friend will receive a notification, letting them know you referred. When they ACCEPTED your referral, they will be listed as your connected referral.
- You can easily track your referrals through the PowerPay Referral Dashboard. You will see all of your accepted referrals listed in this dashboard. If you want more details, simply click on the right arrow to see where in the process that specific referral is at. The legend is simple and here is what they each stand for: Red Person: An appointment has been made between your referral and Sunworks to learn more about their savings. Yellow Contract: After your friend sees how much they will save, they’ll surely want solar! A contract is signed for a solar energy system by Sunworks. Green Solar Panel with Red Dollar Sign: The Sunworks solar system installation project is completed and now you’re eligible for a Referral bonus payout. Green Solar Panel with a Green Circled Number: The circled number in any of the steps is for Organizations. The number shows how many people within that organization is at that specific step. Once your referral goes solar, you will be asked to determine your payout options.
- When you select your payout option, you can also send a message to your referral, thanking them for going solar!
- We also make it easy for you to share the news.
- Within PowerPay, you can share various ways by selecting the Boost option at the bottom of the screen. This is an example of sharing your PowerPay Referral Partner link. Each Referral Partner is automatically assigned a unique link. When you share this on social media and your friend clicks on your link to learn more, you will get the referral assigned under you. This option is especially nice for those not sure who within their network is considering solar.
- You can also share directly via your device’s native messaging, email or other options.
- Also within PowerPay, you can communicate with your referrals and your assigned Sunworks Sales Associate. FYI, a Sales Associate is assigned to each Referral Partner to help move their referrals along the process. The Sunworks Sales Associate also serves as the key Sunworks point of contact for information regarding their referrals.
- Within the PowerPay mobile app, you can make a call or an in-app message. It’s really that simple!
- You will also notice a Resources icon on the bottom of your screen. We are constantly adding marketing materials for you to download, use and share. We also have articles we feel may be useful for you. There will be videos your can watch or share as well as events you can come to network and learn more.
- In addition to all of the resources available, there is a cool interactive Powerhouse Map that shows Sunworks solar installations in your neighborhood.

- We see Sunworks PowerPay as an “Everybody Wins” game. The Referral Partner benefits from additional income, achievement in earning revenue, increasing sustainability for the world and if they choose, can also donate their referral earnings to a non-profit. The Referred Friend saves money through solar and they’re contributing to a more environmentally conscious solution. Non-Profits also win through receiving donations from altruistic Referral Partners so they may further their work in their cause. And of course, Sunworks wins by earning the business and helping people save through solar. What’s not to love about that model?
