The Adams clasp is a commonly used retentive component that provides rigidity and retention on multiple tooth types.  Clasps act by engaging certain constricted areas of the
teeth that are called undercuts.
 -Buccal undercuts

erupted teeth.

 Cleaning of the appliance.
 In case of breakage report immediately.

19.  Follow up visit
 Enquire about the regularity of wear.
 Check for sore spots or any pain in any region
 Check for any interference in in tooth movement.
 Look for any distortion of wire component.
 Adjust the retentive unit if required.
 Activate the active components.
