Stone Style Select’s superior wall claddings
are spilt face on five sides with sawn backs
for ease of installation. It is recommended
that a qualified Stone Mason is entrusted to
complete your installation.
Wall Claddings can be fixed to Concrete,
Block & Brick Masonry, and certain Exterior
Cement Sheet walls. Wall Cladding sizes
are Random in Lengths, Heights & Depths.
Samples can be provided to assist in
selection.
Stone Style Select recommends using
industry tile adhesives. Such as products
from LATICRETE - www.laticrete.com.au
Claddings are sold by per metre squared.
Corners are also available as ‘L’ Shaped
corner pieces and sold by the linear metre.

FINISHES
A consistent re-occurring theme throughout an
undertaking makes for a first-rate and stylish design.
Utilising surface finishes of the same product can
streamline your initial selections. The following is a
comprehensive list of surface finishes available.
BUSH HAMMERED
A pounding action that produces a textured finish to the
surface of the tile.
CHISELLED EDGE
The edge of each tile is hand-chiselled, producing a
natural, rustic finish.
FLAMED
A rough surface that is developed through heat. During
fabrication the stone is heated up, and the crystals in the
stone begin to ‘pop’, forming a rough surface.
HONED
Provides a flat to low-sheen gloss with a very smooth
surface. Honed stone colours are not as vibrant as
polished stone. This finish is common in high traffic areas.
POLISHED
A glossy and very smooth surface which brings out the
colour and grains of the natural stone. The shine comes
from the reflectivity of the stone’s crystals. It is achieved
with polishing bricks and powders used during the
fabrication process, it is not a coating on the stone.
SANDED
The tiles are treated with a pressurised flow of sand-
water, producing a textured surface with a matte gloss.
SPLIT FACE/NATURAL FACE
The stone is split as opposed to being cut; giving a very
natural-looking textured finish that also provides an anti-
slip quality to the tile.
TUMBLED
The cut tile placed in a purpose-built tumbling machine
which produces a rounded edge. Gives the stone a
naturally weathered look.
CROSS CUT
Where the stone is cut along the grain, giving the tile the
look of the natural surface of the stone.
VEIN CUT
Where the stone is cut against the grain, so that the
surface of the tile features the veins that run through the
stone.
BASSALT COBBLE
Appreciable and
accustomed traditional
Bassalt Cobbles. These
cobblestones consist of
hand split faces, with sawn
sides and underside for
perfect consistency.

10. VERACRUZ QUARTZITE
A compact, solid, hardwearing stone available in Wall Cladding, Pavers and Cobbles.
Colour expressions through this versatile Quartzite are becoming a favoured array - Rusty oxides, whites, scant blacks,
deep emerald greens, rose, pearl greys and sandy blonde. All in unison create a pleasing composition.

Stock Items: 30% deposit required upon placement & confirmation of order & balance on collection or prior to delivery or 30 days from
invoice, whichever comes first. Special orders: 60% deposit upon confirmation.
OWNERSHIP OF THE GOODS REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF STONE STYLE SELECT UNTIL PAID FOR IN FULL
Please check all goods on delivery. Any goods deemed as faulty must be reported to STONE STYLE SELECT for replacement
within 48 hours of delivery. STONE STYLE SELECT has no responsibility for cracked or faulty stone once used in an application, Claims
cannot be accepted or liability admitted once tiles are used. Please be aware that stone has natural textures and colour variations that
are a common occurrence. Colours shown in all samples are indicative only, please use as a guide, they should not be used for final
selection. No returns can be accepted for Special Orders. We do not recommend the use of Acid on Natural Stone. We recommend
sealing of all Natural Stone. Please ensure that you seal any Natural products around salt water pools & other outdoor wet areas.
