1. Steven Holmes
Design Lead (Associate) BA (Hons), Dip LA, AILA, RLA
As a result of over 16 years’ experience gained both in the United Kingdom
and Australia, Steven has acquired a wide range of skills in both the public
and private domain. He has an extensive background in all aspects of the
profession including local government and private practice. As head of the
International design team Steven worked on a multitude of residential,
commercial, retail and parkland projects throughout China and the Middle
East. Steven currently leads the design team in Sydney and oversees a wide
range of projects both locally and internationally. Steven completed an
Advanced Diploma in Management in 2012 and is currently a member of the
UDIA sustainability committee.
Case Study Project
Caddens (Urban Growth New South Wales)
Place Design Group were commissioned by UGNSW in 2009 to master plan,
design and document the Caddens development (Stages 1-7) at Penrith,
NSW. Steven has been project manager since inception and overseen built
works that include the Hill Top Park (below), Western Linear Park and a
linear Riparian Park. Steven is currently managing the VMP works on stage
5. The project is due for completion in 2015.
