PROFILE
A highly experienced development manager I have amassed strong partnership
working and leadership skills. Motivated by business plan objectives I find innovative
solutions to problems. I work well as part of a team having led numerous project
teams and line managed teams of project managers.
WORK HISTORY
Homes & Communities Agency - 13/05/2013 to present
Area Manager - I am the lead officer for the South and South West Operating Area
lead on the Empty Homes programme and the Affordable Homes Guarantee
Programme. This involves overseeing the assessment of bids for funding,
disseminating information, and reporting on progress.
I am responsible for detailed assessment of bids and making recommendations to
senior managers. I am also currently working on the resolution of issues which may
be a barrier to the Empty Homes programme.
Islington & Shoreditch Housing Association - 1/12/2008 to 13/5/2013
Development Manager - Managing a team of four project managers and the Clerk of
Works to deliver the development programme. Producing and presenting reports to
senior managers and the Development Committee. Updating and improving policies
and procedures e.g. defects procedures. Development Department lead for various
working groups e.g. performance improvement. Assessment of consultants and
contractors for OJEU compliant frameworks.
One Housing Group - January 2008 - 1/12/2008
Regional Development Manager - Managing a team of project managers and
trainees to appraise and purchase new sites and development opportunities. Leading
negotiations with developers, landowners and contractors. Negotiating with local
authorities and funders to support proposals.

Project Manager - Leading on acquisition of sites and project managing new build,
mixed tenure affordable housing projects including the affordable housing element of
the Arsenal Stadium redevelopment. Project Managing the decent homes
programme. Project Managing the Barnsbury Estate Regeneration in the London
Borough of Islington following stock transfer. All aspects of IMS including bids,
claims, regular updates.
