Compaid is a community transport organization that has operated in Kent for 30 years. It provides transport services to around 1,800 disabled individuals each year. Compaid has a fleet of 22 vehicles that provide over 39,000 passenger journeys and cover 340,000 miles annually. The services include transportation to hospitals, day centers, local attractions, and home to school for special education students in towns across West Kent such as Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, and Maidstone. Compaid aims to reduce loneliness and isolation while improving independence and access to activities for those it serves.
