Responsibilities:
Complete and log production inventory into Omnis on a monthly basis for 15 million
pounds of chemical products.
Assists in the role of team leader for 3 personnel during 12 hour shifts in the absence of
management.
Inspects equipment units and systems that process chemical substances
into specified industrial and consumer products, according to knowledge of
operating procedures, chemical reactions, laboratory test results and correlation
of process instrumentation.
Maintains the clearing and opening of lines, pumps and filters; troubleshoot and report
nonconformities.
Executes daily operations of continual improvements in Health, Safety, and
Security of the process.
Ensures all safety permits are completed and obeyed.
Monitors and adjusts controls to regulate feed of liquids and gases through equipment in
specified timing and sequence, and start automatic feed.
Trains other operators on the Distributed Control System (DCS) and day to day Process
operations.
Perform product analysis at specified stages of synthesis and completes
refractometer, gas-analyses, and other standard tests to determine
efficiency and conformity of reaction with plant standards.
