• 1597 – Casa Madero is Founded – Oldest Winery in the Americas
• 1960’s - early 70’s LA CETTO brings international experts to Baja.
• 1701 First Planting in Baja– 1707 Baja Wines begin.

• 1791 Mission Santo Tomas is Founded, 1888 Commercial production begins.

years making wines in Baja, He
grows over 110 different grape
varietals on his various ranches.

• Winemaker Lulu Martinez Ojeda –
Trained and worked in Margaux for 10
years. She has played a big part in
bringing attention from France to
Mexico. She was instrumental in
bringing Bodegas Henri Lurton to Baja
Now at Bruma, she makes both classic
and experimental wines.

• Vineyard Source: Valle de Guadalupe
• Aging: 6 months
• Barrel: 100% Stainless Steel
Suggested Pairings: Chef Hussong loves to
pair this with his seafood tacos. Grilled
octopus, Aguachile, and pork.

TEMPRANILLO
• Founded in 2011 by Mr. Hector Corona.
Winery focuses on sustainable practices.
• Winemaker: Jac Cole, a Napa Valley
winemaker. With experience making wine as
Stags’ Leap Cellars and Spring Mountain
Vineyards.
• 100% Tempranillo
• Vineyard Source: Valle de Guadalupe
• Stainless steel fermentation
• Aging 12 months in French Oak Barrels.
